Our Mission as the NALA(STEM) (National Alliance ​Leading the Acceleration of STEM) is to unite, support, and build community among all historically excluded peoples in STEM.

We foster the career development and transition of undergraduate, graduate students, postdocs, and professionals through conferences, workshops, and mentorship. We achieve this by:

  • Giving back to current students through workshops, panels, and speaking engagements

  • Creating a supportive community of STEM professionals

  • Developing an experienced pool of professionals from universities and industry to tap into for speaking engagements
